  Stephen Long has been a private investigator for thirty-eight years and licensed in California since 1980.  A former instructor at two American Polygraph Association certified schools and perennial speaker on the subject of interrogation, criminal defense investigation, and demonstrative evidence, he has assembled a staff, heretofore nonexistent, in the private investigator sector.  Mr. Long has been featured by The Associated Press, Honolulu Star Bulletin, network and local television, national and international radio and as a keynote speaker for bar associations, colleges, professional co-alitions, the American Society of Industrial Security, and national and international corporations.

Vision Staff Investigators

  Vision Staff Investigators have an aggregate professional experience totaling over one hundred and sixty years.  Each staff member has been selected to service highly selective client needs.  For example, Surveillance investigators are never used to conduct Interviews and Interrogations.  Our videographers generally work exclusively in that area and would never serve as an investigative expert.

  To further illustrate how our system works, our lead investigator in the surveillance area is a retired police officer who has worked both in the San Diego, and San Anselmo, California Police Departments.   His area of expertise in those departments was surveillance and thus, he continues serving our clients in that area.  Another Vision investigator is retired from the San Francisco Police Department where he specialized in witness and suspect interviewing.   Once again, he continues to serve in this area of expertise and will continue to do so.  Our extensive experience all but assures that each investigation undertaken by Vision Investigative Services will meet and exceed client expectations. Our aerial photographer is a photographic expert who has been flying for over two decades.  His expertise however, is photography, which is only enhanced by his ability to fly a plane.  As you can see from these examples, each Vision investigator is carefully matched to each case undertaken by our firm.
